Local street-luxe label, Chi Chi Von Tang (CCVT) recently released a new premium line, Lisa Von Tang (LVT). CCVT has been one of Singapore’s more successful fashion brands, dressing A-listers like Mick Jagger, and is the only Singapore brand to be featured at the Met Gala.
Setting itself apart from CCVT, LVT identifies with an East-meets-West style, delivering “Casual Opulence” through a collection of eclectic and exquisite menswear. Wardrobe staples are updated with oriental-style prints juxtaposed against modern silhouettes; garments are adorned with traditional Chinese Brocade trims, luxurious silk lining, and tassels.
On 8 December, LVT will be opening its flagship store at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, featuring collections from both CCVT and LVT.
The new boutique boasts a thoughtfully designed glass atelier room, where bespoke creations are made. Inside the glass room lies an impressive range of museum-grade Chinese brocades and tribal handloom fabrics, painstakingly curated from the designer’s travels.
