CAMPAIGN CIRCUIT: Oh-So-Hip With Saint Laurent Mens

 

Campaign Circuit 26.With a strong emphasis on going against the grain, Saint Laurent Mens Fall/Winter 2013 campaign is a definitive example of how a brand establishes their persona. Shot by the label’s notorious creative director Hedi Slimane, the images star 19-year-old twin musicians Fletcher and Wyatt Shears (who make lo-fi, gothy garage-punk tune under the name of The Garden.) It’s almost become a known trademark of the brand to feature the coolest of cool musicians to front their campaigns, (we saw Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson and Kim Gordon star in previous season’s images,) and this season saw Slimane handpicking these duos to be front-and-center in all the hipness that is Saint Laurent.
