Dior’s New B101 Sneakers Are A Study In Neutral

Dior's New B101 Sneakers Are A Study In NeutralDior’s Fall Winter 2022-2023 show introduces the Dior B101 sneakers in a versatile neutral palette.

In Kim Jones’ homage to Monsieur Dior’s love for the streets of Paris this Fall Winter 2022-2023 collection, he ties all the urban suiting ensembles down to the current times with Dior’s new B101 sneakers, an everyday, versatile low-top sneaker.

Introduced as a new wardrobe classic, the B101 is crafted in cream smooth calfskin, elevated with a greige nubuck insert at the front of the shoe for a luxurious effect. Sleek in silhouette with a tonal sculpted outsole, the branding is kept to a bare minimum, with a padded tongue, sole and heel all featuring the ‘CD Diamond’ and ‘DIOR’ signatures akin to that of the Maison’s attention to detail.

The shoe comes in four neutral-toned colours that range from black, white, cream and beige, an option for every mood or season without looking too plain. If the white base is too common, a rubber-based option is also available.

A lace-up closure, leather lining and topstitching contribute a classy finish to the kicks, parking it nicely between the category of formal and casual, night and day. This is the kind of shoe you can throw on with a pair of jeans or dress pants — the relaxed vibe is just as easy-going as the sneaker itself.

If you want to see if they are a good fit for you but don’t have the time to go down to the store, here’s a Snapchat filter to virtually try them on instead. Or else, watch them in action during the show below.
