Kenzo The Realest Real: F/W 2016 Campaign

  • By Henry Boen

We all know that the virtual life played out on social media isn’t real … or is it? Kenzo explores the intangible juxtaposition of social media, fame, and reality in its new short film entitled The Realest Real. The short film portrays the superficial inclusion of oneself into the narrative of his/her idolised celebrities’ life. The Kenzo short film, written and directed by Carrie Brownstein of Portlandia, features the unexpected yet hilarious consequences of confusing reality and virtual reality. Topped with an abundance of unapologetic sarcasm and humour, the 7-minute Kenzo The Realest Real, featuring its Fall/Winter 2016 collection, is sure to entertain. Take a look below.
