Bright Vachirawit Finds His Own Rhythm With Burberry

We catch up with Bright — the fourth of our annual affairs — to talk about his latest Burberry campaign, more bold ambitions and encounters from 2026, and how he wants to pursue 2027.

If you’ve been following us over the past few years, you’d know that we are no stranger to the luminous aura that comes with Bright Vachirawit. Year on year, he reinvents himself, showing new sides even to those who think they know him best — proving his multifaceted potential, and his endless drive to push forth on his creative visions. Our fourth year of annual check-ins with the superstar happens with Burberry, with Bright fronting the new Same City, Different Rhythms campaign (alongside Son Heung-Min). Read here for what he’s been up to, and what he plans to do in the coming year.

For people who aren’t familiar with you and your work yet, how would you want to be introduced?
I’m Bright, an artist from Bangkok. I make music, I act, and I have so many things in my head that I’m bringing to life. So stay tuned!

Five words starting with a B that relate to you, other than “Bright”.
Bold. Boundless. Belief. Balance. Becoming.

Bold with my choices, boundless with my imagination. Belief is about having faith in myself. Balance is about making time for everything that matters to me. And becoming—because I’m still finding out what I’m capable of.

What’s your most memorable outfit from Burberry? Where were you, what were you doing, when did you wear it, why is it a memorable outfit?
I’d say my latest look for the Burberry show at London Fashion Week. It was elegant but still had that edge I like, and I felt really comfortable in it. I feel much better with myself now, so I don’t overthink what I wear as much.

What is a creative project that you are most proud of making? Why?
The album I’m working on right now. It’s still coming together, but I’m already proud of how much of myself I’ve put into it. It’s got things I’ve been through, feelings I have to get it out, and sounds I’ve always wanted to try. I’m also giving myself more room to trust my instincts and be more open in the music. I want people to put their headphones on, get lost in that world for a bit, and find something in it that feels personal to them too.

What does success look like to Bright in 2026?
For me, it’s having the freedom to choose my own path and take responsibility for those choices. I know more clearly now what kind of life I want and where I want to put my energy. I want to make music I believe in, work with people who push me creatively, and connect with people around the world. If I can do that and still make time for the people I love, that’s success to me. I want to actually enjoy the life I’m working so hard to build.

What is something new you learned about yourself in 2026?
I’ve learned that I do everything much better when I do it with love, not fear. Now I know what I like, I know what I want, and I’m getting better at trusting that feeling. Whether it’s a song, a look, or my work, I want to follow what excites me. I don’t need everyone to understand every move I make.

What is one goal you hope to accomplish over the next 5 years?
A world tour with an album I’m proud of, as well as the opportunity to act in an international film. I want to play my music loud, hear people sing it back, and have a hell of a time together. There’s so much of the world I still want to experience, and taking my music and acting with me feels like the best way to do it.
