Since providing the in-car audio for Maserati, Bowers & Wilkins are now branching out to, creating the Maserati Edition Blue P5 Headphones – the latest in premium audio products for luxury Italian car owners. The P5 Headphones model is definitely no slouch and has its accolades as well: Pocket-lint awarded them four-and-a-half starts in 2010, with claims that “they are fantastic headphones”.
Taking from Maserati’s aesthetic, these headphones use the same natural grain leather from the automaker’s cabins. Also, specially developed neodymium magnets and diaphragms (a signature of Bowers & Wilkins) provide crystal-clear sounds and top-notch external noise isolation. Each side features a Maserati emblem of a trident – designed by Mario Maserati in 1926, it is based on the statue of Neptune in the fountain of Bologna Piazza Maggiore.
Each pair of headphones comes with a quilted leather carrying pouch and an iPhone cable which has an in-line microphone and remote for calls to be taken so music is played uninterrupted.
