Chivas launches the Chivas XV, throwing a pool party on the rooftop of voco Orchard to celebrate.

The festive season is here, and so is the spirit of the party. In celebration of the launch of Chivas XV, a fruity and velvety whisky that is aged for a minimum of 15 years and selectively finished in French oak Cognac casks, Chivas threw a flashy pool party attended by a crowd of celebrities of-the-moment.

Held at the rooftop pool of voco Orchard Singapore, the shindig was decked out in all things gold and glam. With music spun by DJ Red and DJ Kaylova and a performance by drag superstar, Charlotte Rays, bringing the sass of the night up to an all-time high, guests were treated to a long night of non-stop entertainment. A 360° video booth experience was also available among various photo walls, visited by celebrities like Jade Rasif, Dharni, ShiGGa Shay and Dew Francis.

At the heart of the event laid the Chivas XV, complete with a new look that still retains the familiar iconic silhouette while making a bold statement. With a gold sheen and pleasing curves, the bottle stands out even in the hubbub of the occasion.

The whisky is full of rich sultana and warming cinnamon notes that retain a polished flavour and texture. Combining the fruity taste of poached pears, butterscotch and caramel toffees with a hint of vanilla, this taste profile befits a wide range of contemporary serving styles — either neat, on the rocks or in specially created cocktails, this is an easy drink to enjoy.
