Singapore Cocktail Week is back again this weekend, and the second week of March is not a bad time at all to eat, drink and be merry! For the uninitiated, this is the second edition of the annual drinking festival dedicated to the craft of mixology and, well, getting nice and tipsy. Beginning on the 12th of March all the way through to the 19th, this year’s Cocktail Week sees the involvement of about 60 F&B establishments, doubled up from last year’s count of 30. If bar tours, supper clubs, brunches, and workshops sound like your kind of thing, then we’d strongly advise you to get hold of a set of coloured wristbands. These will get you cocktails off the special menus at participating bars for a modest $14++ per drink, as well as discounts for all other activities.
While we’re all familiar with the big and prestigious bars in the cocktail industry, such as 28 HongKong Street, Sugarhall, Manhattan Bar and the like, we thought we’d keep you updated with some of the newer bars in town who are opening their doors to embrace Singapore Cocktail Week. Here are eight of the new kids on the block, and some of the drinks they’ll be offering to quench your thirst.
