Devialet’s portable speakers — the Mania, comes in a two new seasonal shades inspired by the concept of the ‘noise spectrum.’
If you know anything about Devialet, you would know that the designs of their speakers are the furthest thing from ordinary. A visionary in the crowded audio market, the French hi-fi company distinguishes their offerings through unique product design, excellent sound performance, premium materials, and its hefty price tags. Their latest iteration of their Mania speaker keeps in line with the brand’s ethos of delivering transformative sounds in unique packages.
The Mania delivers Devialet signature sounds into a portable and compact shell. Following the design of their Phantom speaker, the Mania has a dual woofer design that allows for 360° stereo sound in a kettlebell shape. Additionally, with the Active Stereo Calibration (ASC) technology, the speaker is able to adapt its audio experience depending on where it is being positioned. When put against a wall, the two full-range speakers in the back seamlessly support the two front speakers producing a broad and powerful soundscape for unrivalled on-the-go listening.
Using the concept of the ‘noise spectrum’, the brand developed Seasonal Colours Exclusive Editions of their portable speaker for an emotive listening experience. The rosy hues of the sky during dawn and dusk inspired the shade Sunset Rose, meanwhile the shade Sandstorm took inspiration from the colours of mineral landscapes.
A playlist accompanies the two new colours. Where Sunset Rose has a playlist called Pink Noise that is curated with music that is perfect for relaxing, Sandstorm’s playlist named Brownian noise features a softer but equally as tranquil sounds. Both playlists are available to stream on all streaming platforms.
Along with the new colours, the brand designed the Devialet Mania Cocoon — a portable sleeve in the shape of the smart speaker, that ensures total protection while on the go. The sleeve comes with a woven logo shoulder strap and rubber handle for a sleek portable experience.
