With Closeness, First Comes Touch: Nathaniel and Tasmin Fong As Told By Aesop

Aesop celebrates closeness and its sensorial formulations through a pair of handwritten notes between Nathaniel and Tasmin Fong.

The gift of a handwritten note extends far beyond its contents; the act of putting pen to paper is an act of love in itself.

In the spirit of Aesop’s celebration of closeness this month, we invite three expressions of affection to manifest through the language of touch — between skin, sensorial formulations, and between pen and paper.

Each exchange — between content-creator siblings Nathaniel and Tasmin Fong, multidisciplinary creative couple weish and Marc Gabriel Loh, as well as fine artist couple Faris Heizer and Aisha Rosli — is a peek into a portrait of storied time; every still a gentle reminder that the intimacy of being understood comes first from a touch of tenderness.

When the florals of Aurner meet the near-citrus spice of Above Us, Steorra, you get a combination that is defiantly different yet harmoniously in sync, parallel to wunderkind siblings Nathaniel and Tasmin Fong.
