Welcome to the lucrative market of makeup, La Beauté Louis Vuitton. The luxury cosmetics market now has a new contender ready to win over the aspirational buyer. La Beauté Louis Vuitton is a cosmetics line that many have anticipated. Their starter collection of tools include a range of 55 Rouge lipsticks, 10 Baume lipbalms, eight Ombre eyeshadow palettes and of course, accompanying leather accessories like a lipstick-sized trunk and an entire vanity case that houses the entirety of the new La Beauté collection.

Masterminded by the one and only Pat McGrath, who’s also been additionally appointed as the Cosmetics Creative Director of the House. Her role, like with Nicolas Ghesquière and Pharrell Williams, is to translate the artistry, cultural vision and history of the House and encapsulate the essence of it across beauty lines. Indeed, the McGrath blueprint is well coded into the La Beauté kit.

The LV Rouge line offers 27 creamy satin hues and 28 velvety matte shades, each delivering an intensely pigmented colour. The formulation of the lipsticks have skincare elements built in, such as shea butter and hyaluronic acid to improve wearability and comfort. The matte finish is designed to last up to 12 hours, while the satin finish provides up to 24 hours of hydration. Whereas for the LV Ombre eyeshadow palettes, they come in a set of 4 shades in one palette. The shade range spans from luminous beiges to matte burgundies that are pigmented yet retains an easy formula for application, all thanks to the squalene and camelina flower oil extracts included in the ingredients list.

It’s not just about formulation either. All of the La Beauté products come encased in shiny, golden, refillable packaging designed by Konstantin Grcic. Each piece is a masterclass in product design. The aluminium and brass casing and locking mechanisms of the products give the line an ultra luxe feeling, one with the consumer in mind.
With the amount of thoughtfulness and research done to perfect the LV beauty experience, it comes at a price. Lipsticks and lip balms will set you back at S$220 a piece, while the eyeshadow palette costs S$345. Putting the luxury in luxury makeup.

La Beauté Louis Vuitton will be first launched exclusively in China on August 20th, 2025, with every product but the eyeshadow palettes. Whereas, the worldwide launch will be on August 29th, 2025 in a selection of Louis Vuitton stores and on their website.
