Whether you prefer cozy spots for lingering or lively dining rooms with shared plates and plenty of wine, these restaurants offer unique ways to dine, toast, and celebrate the most festive time of the year.

Christmas is a season best enjoyed around the table. Picture long lunches or candlelit dinners where glasses stay full and conversation lasts as long as dessert. The festive calendar brings a special sense of occasion, and restaurants meet the moment with menus made for indulgence, togetherness, and celebration. Whether you prefer cozy spots for lingering or lively dining rooms with shared plates and plenty of wine, these restaurants offer unique ways to dine, toast, and celebrate the most festive time of the year.

Bottega di Carna

At Bottega di Carna, the Christmas season is all about the warmth and generosity of an Italian celebration with carefully planned menus for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day. On Christmas Eve, Bottega di Carna offers a refined five-course meal for diners that blends tradition with Italian flair ($128 per person). Begin with roasted chestnut soup, followed by seasonal dishes like pork cotechino with lentils and caramelle pasta. Guests can select between Spanish mackerel with saffron beurre blanc or USDA Prime fillet mignon with Barolo wine jus for the main course before ending the meal with Ciliegie, a festive dessert of vanilla bavarois, kirsch cherry, and bittersweet chocolate.

On Christmas Day, Bottega di Carna transforms into a lively festive brunch venue ($118 per person, or $188 with free-flow Veuve Clicquot, wines, and cocktails). Those who enjoy some live station action will be thrilled to discover offerings of foie gras, roasted pork belly, grilled Black Angus rib-eye, slow-roasted turkey, and other Italian holiday classics. A wide selection of desserts, including panettone, stollen, log cakes, and bread and butter pudding, rounds out the celebration.

Boxing Day at Bottega di Carna is a more relaxed but equally indulgent continuation of the festivities. The brunch menu features Italian comfort dishes such as burratina with peach and aged balsamic and fritto misto to start, followed by hearty mains of charcoal-grilled beef, grilled seabass with saffron beurre blanc, or roasted turkey breast with chestnut and truffle jus. Classic desserts like panettone, rum fruit cake, and chestnut Mont Blanc finish off a leisurely afternoon for those who want to keep the holiday spirit going.
