The Gift of Sleek and Sexy: Rado High-Tech CeramicRado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic

In the quest to take the Captain Cook collection to the next level, Rado introduces the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic collection. It does not merely feature an innovative ceramic monobloc case construction, scratch- resistant and hypoallergenic high-tech ceramic, but also calibre R734 with Nivachron hairspring — a material that shields the watch from damaging magnetic fields.

A major highlight is the classy yet mysterious black-tinted sapphire crystal dial and case-back, which allows the wearer to appreciate the inner workings of the skeletonised movement while retaining utmost legibility. Additionally, the dial is accentuated by the Rado rotating anchor at 12 o’clock and is protected by a chevé box sapphire crystal.

Rado True Square Automatic Open Heart

Rado’s virtuoso in ceramic watches is demonstrated in the True Square Automatic Open Heart as it is the first Rado watch made from a square injected monobloc high-tech ceramic case. Light on the wrist, delicate to the skin, impervious to scratches and virtually indestructible, glossy white ceramic runs across the case and extends to the bracelet.

The dial is open-worked with a touch of industrialism to reveal the fine workings of the automatic R734 calibre. Gold accents frame the watch hands and dial cut-out borders for additional legibility aided by 12 ornate hour indices.
