Impulsive bedroom rockstars now have a new reason to stay their multidimensional selves. Infused with the charm and fantasies of the 1970s, the latest Saint Laurent denim collection by artistic director Anthony Vaccarello is a sensual, psychedelic arrangement of distressed jackets and reworked blazers amongst timeless jeans. The satisfyingly star-studded campaign with Romeo Beckham further personifies the freedom expressed in the new collection, which one can get their hands on in stores now.

Italian Sands
Versace expands its domination in Singapore with a new store at Marina Bay Sands for a double shot of retail therapy. The revamped boutique — the size of a first-class airport lounge — follows the store concept designed by architect Gwenael Nicolas. Expect to walk on grey and white marble flooring depicting Versace’s Greca pattern, as ariston marble blue calcite stone takes over counters and walls — a taste of Italian luxury without the need for travel.

Iconic Redux
The obsession with the motorcycle studded bags — such as the City and Le Cagole — from Balenciaga has never stopped. It once enjoyed feverish popularity two decades ago and is still a defining accessory of the early 2000s. In their purest form, they are maximalist bags designed to be worn out as much as possible and paired with the loudest outfits one might don.

This time, the La Cagole returns as a newly reinvented bag for Fall/Winter ’21, with four sizes that range from over-the-shoulder slings to hobo bags. Made with the distinctive Arena lamb, the charm of the bag — described as “too much” — will continue such a legacy.

NBA’s king of sneakers, P.J. Tucker curates a series of sneakers in a special collaboration with Dolce&Gabbana. Recognised as one of the most acclaimed international players in the basketball universe, the American basketball player’s style has given life to two new interpretations of the classic Miami sneaker. With inspirations from the 1990s, the adaptations are available in two colourways — Sicilian orange and beige.

The orange version bears a suede upper contrasting with yellow laces, while the beige version is made of suede — both personalised with the champion’s contrasting embroidered signature.

Green Mile
First launched in 2020, Gucci Off The Grid is a capsule collection of ready-to-wear and accessories with a committed use of recycled, organic, sustainable-sourced materials. With circular production as a goal, duffle bags, backpacks, Tennis 1977 sneakers and small accessories make up the collection designed with a regenerated nylon material sourced from old carpets and fabric scraps that would otherwise pollute the world’s oceans and land.

Gucci Off The Grid is a demonstration of how fashion could evolve further in a world that is growing more environmentally conscious, with Gucci encouraging all to be mindful of the impacts on the planet from one’s purchases.

Card Hand
Distinctive collaborations have come to define the allure of artistry at Dior Men. In a surprise capsule, Kenny Scharf extends his collaboration to lend his cartoon-like whims with a perfect pre-season delivery inspired by Christian Dior’s passion for games. Renderings of playing-card figures — the ace, king, and queen of hearts — appear in bandana-inspired blue or pink motifs on shirts, T-shirts, a bomber, and a jean jacket.

Available now, the collection sees Dior Men artistic director Kim Jones’ lucid approach to menswear cement the French Maison’s all-in approach to artistic collaborations.
