ShiGGa Shay and Jay Park = uRight = Good Vibes
The discography of ShiGGa Shay spans across quite a few topics. He’s strangely really proficient in Hokkien, he likes girls to feed him grapes in the morning and he likes Phua Chu Kang. Which means that URight — a collaboration track between ShiGGA Shay and Jay Park that talks about gasp, love — feels momentous.

“If you really loved the other person, it wouldn’t matter who’s right or who’s wrong in an argument. I was freestyling to music producer superjdoug’s beat and laid down the chorus very quickly. Producer OkayJJack and I felt that there was a missing element. We wanted to get someone who understood Hip-hop as well as R&B to jump on the song. Someone who could convey the emotional message of what we were trying to do. We immediately asked the other, ‘Could we get Jay Park to do a feature?’” — says ShiGGA Shay.

Produced by a collective effort worldwide — superjdoug in the UK with additional production from OkayJJack in the US, the single is released by DRINK ENTERTAINMENT and mixed by RiiDEM in Singapore and mastered by MYDAZ in the little red dot too with additional editing by Jason Gelchen.

Of how the collaboration took place between ShiGGA Shay and Jay Park, the former adds, “Coincidentally, Jay happened to be in LA for work. He had a really busy schedule but made time to come by the studio. He wrote his parts within 20 minutes and started recording. We finished the song that same night. A few months later, Jay flew down to Singapore and we shot the music video entirely around iconic locations of the city. I wanted to showcase certain places in Singapore that are not usually seen by our friends overseas. Much love and respect to Jay Park for taking time out to make this collaboration happen!”
