Aside from the latest City Guides 2017, Louis Vuitton turns the spotlight to travel photography with the latest addition to Louis Vuitton’s book line up, Fashion Eye. Introduced in a series of five books, each contains uniquely curated images to showcase the photographer’s interpretation of a distinguished destination.
India By Henry Clarke, for example, features American photographer Henry Clarke’s series of shots taken during the 1960s on his trips to India for the US edition of Vogue. With the earthy, majestic influence of the rich Indian culture, the images capture a complementary relationship of the intriguing beauty of India’s landscape and the rawness of the model and her ensembles. The other books in the series are titled Miami By Guy Bourdin, Paris By Jeanloup Sieff, California by Kourtney Roy and Shanghai By Wing Shya.
Fashion Eye features more than a hundred large-format photographs along with biographical information, interviews with the photographers and critical essays. Fashion Eye will be available in November.
