For the monsieur who is all for how his dapper suit is constructed, read on: Boss introduces its new full canvas suit, a limited edition that will be produced in 1,500 pieces each season, starting from Fall/Winter 2016. Of course, every set will be made in Germany, true to the brand’s design and craftsmanship DNA. And besides promising its fans the perfect fits (two are available: regular and slim) and the quintessential modern Boss look, the label will also offer an array of Italian fabrics and colours – tonal micro-check wool in medium blue, tonal striped wool and silk in navy, and micro-weave wool in medium blue and grey, to be exact.
Why one should pick a canvassed suit over a fused (read: glued) one? The Boss full canvas, crafted from natural camel hair, offers softness, flexibility and comfort. More about how Boss’ full canvas suit is crafted: During production, every fabric is steamed and put under pressure to stabilize its structure, ensuring that the various layers of the suit will respond uniformly under weather changes. The lining is also engineered to be completely clean and unbroken, enhancing comfort and molding at the chest area. That’s not all, the armhole is hand-stitched for softness and ease of movement and softness, while pleats in the trousers enhance comfort.
