Local shoemakers Ed Et Al are releasing a new shoe range, labeled Prestige in accordance with their fifth anniversary.
The Prestige line, launching in August is a semi-bespoke range of shoes for customers who desire more customisation than those offered in other Ed Et Al ranges, but are unsure of fully committing to a pair of Bespoke shoes. Prestige shoes will be hand-lasted and welted in Ed Et Al’s Singapore workshop using leathers from the most established European and American tanneries.
Unique sole finishing designs interpreted from traditional construction techniques will also be adapted to Prestige shoes, namely wooden pegging at the shank area, tighter waists and an exaggerated fiddle back sole.
Shoes from the range take 6 to 8 weeks to produce.
