Since Alessandro Michele helmed the reins of Gucci, every collection is a romantic fantasy come to life. Spring/Summer 2016 is no different. It’s a warm photo series of beautiful models doing absolutely mundane things, while letting the clothes make a statement. Shot in the city of Berlin, Polina Oganicheva, Mia Gruenwald, Elizabeth Moore and Jacob Hugo Goldhoorn and Peyton Knight look stunningly whimsical in outlandish pieces like brocade suits with flared trousers, patterned bombers, and ornate shirts with exaggerated lapels. It’s a 60s hippy fantasy that went down the rabbit hole, and a peacock comes into play too…somewhere.
