Who knew Calvin Harris could look this good? The Grammy Award-winning DJ was recently tapped to front Emporio Armani’s Spring/Summer 2015 campaign, where he sports a dapper-meet-badboy look.
Harris, whom Forbes has named as the world’s top-earning DJ for two consecutive years, was chosen specifically to reinforce the deep bond between Emporio Armani and the music world. The Scot is also the first British solo artist to hit one billion streams on Spotify and having the most chart-toppers from a studio album, surpassing even the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
“Calvin Harris is truly a cosmopolitan, dynamic young man who is capable of attracting the masses with his music and energy. He isn’t a model by nature, and this creates a more sincere and engaging bond with the pulic,” says Giorgio Armani.
While he may be more comfortable spinning beats than posing in front of a camera, Harris works his chiselled good looks and well-toned body to his advantage in the three released campaign stills, shot in Los Angeles by photographer Boo George.
“It’s incredible to be working with Mr. Armani and his team at Emporio Armani. I feel an affinity to the brand ethos and have been a long time admirer of their designs,” says Harris. In addition to menswear, the chart-topper will also front Emporio Armani’s watch and eyewear lines.
