Gucci presented a collection of archival Jackie bags in Pavilion KL’s 60 years Made In Italy exhibition for the first time in Malaysia. The 13 originals, on loan from the Gucci Museo in Florence, narrate the evolution of Gucci’s signature Jackie bag. Guests were invited to an exclusive screening of the movie ‘The Director’, produced by James Franco and directed by Christina Voros, which recounts the story of the Florentine house under creative director Frida Giannini. ‘The Director’ is a portrait of a designer who has nurtured a deep connection to the past in order to carry forward a legacy into the future.
