Tod’s updates its successful Double Stripe line of bags with its poetically-named Script Bag. Drawing inspiration from the glamourous world of Hollywood, the Tod’s Script Bag was designed with the needs of an actor in mind (hence the moniker). The utilitarian bag incorporates two internal zippered ‘pockets’ that can be removed for separate use, ideal for all the paraphernalia that we imagine the likes of James Franco and Hugh Jackman must take with them on set to look that good.
The idea, we are told, is that an actor can leave his Script Bag in the trailer and carry only the essentials with him on set in the removable pouch. For the non-showbiz personalities among us, this means having the option of leaving your bag in office during lunch while you take one of the two removable pouches to hold your wallet and phone. Another functional improvement from the current bags in the Double Stripe range are Gommino-inspired rubber ‘pebbles’ at the base of the bag that protect your bag from scuffs while attesting to its pedigree.
With its good looks and functional interior, we foresee many style A-listers with their Scripts on hand this Fall!
