Hard to believe, but this is Rag & Bone’s debut campaign for their menswear line. Lensed by Glen Luchford on the streets of New York, designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville chose actor Michael Pitt (of Broadwalk Empire fame) and actress Léa Seydoux (Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris) to personify their Fall/Winter 2013 collection. Aiming to capture “real moments,” the images presented are haunting black and white that portrays both actors in very candid moments as they breeze through their usual lives in New York City.
Interesting fact, this isn’t Michael Pitt’s first foray into fashion; he appeared in a spread for Italian Vogue for their February 2009 issue, as well as appearing as the only-model in Prada’s Spring/Summer 2012 menswear campaign. Coincidentally enough, Léa Seydoux also happens to be a Prada model, being the face of their recently released Candy perfume as well as their 2012 resort campaign. Not a bad thing to have your fashion portfolio as impressive as your film resume no?
