Sneaker collectors and joggers alike, time to warm up those limbs for a run: Raf Simons has teamed up with Adidas for a selection of retro-tinged trainers, some of which made their debut at the Belgian designer’s Milan Fall 2013 presentation.
The limited edition footwear (what isn’t limited edition nowadays?) caused quite a stir when they strode down the Raf Simons runway: judging from early images, they appear distinctly outdoorsy and “ugly” in a garish Crocs way, with bright rubber soles and silicone “bubbles” in pastel hues running the length of the shoe.
The capsule collection will reportedly feature five models in a slew of colorways, and will hit Adidas boutiques in July this year. If you’re looking to kickstart your resolve to work out more often, we suppose a pair or two of designer trainers might help.
