When a Maison crafts the experience of its story in a physical space, tangible elements from fragrance to the brightness of the room’s lights are considered. Now, the magic of the namesake designer — survived through the deft and wondrous hands of Maria Grazia Chiuri, Kim Jones and Cordelia de Castellane — manifests in an online presence with an online boutique, which presents iconic pieces along with the newest collections for women, men, children, babies, and even Dior Maison, all in a single space.

Like many other luxury brands, Dior’s digital migration of its product range will prove to have lasting value. It makes sense — given the unprecedented use of smartphones today, and seeing as how e-commerce has evolved beyond web stores but as sites for likewise tangible experiences. This concept of casting luxury boutiques on the internet is nothing novel. But a move of this scale is no easy task for Dior, as the House has to consider how its signature service and experience may play out in a digital space. Other than the obvious requirement of providing a sense of convenience for customers, the online boutique offers up an instant glimpse into its stores where no physical queues nor telephone purchases are required. For fans of the House, this means a purchase is simply one click away — no matter where you are.

Today, Singapore’s online boutique will finally open its digital doors. One of the latest collections you can uncover in this digital space is the Dior Gray bags from the men’s Fall 2023 collection. From the cloudy skies of Granville to the salons of 30 Avenue Montaigne — via the silhouettes of the revolutionary New Look — gray has always occupied a special place in the history of the House as it did in the heart of Christian Dior. Its latest iterations — first revealed at the upbeat showcase amongst the Pyramids of Giza in Cairo, Egypt — reveals a paradigm design shift in its most classic of offerings.

Dreamed up by artistic director Kim Jones, the Saddle and the Gallop silhouettes are translated for the men’s wardrobe in the emblematic Dior Gray, the enchanting variations composed of grained calfskin leather and enhanced by delicate finishes and contrasting stitching.
The Saddle and Gallop for men also come in two exclusive versions of alligator and python skin. The exceptional materials can also be found flourishing on the B27 low-top sneakers, which are also adorned with Dior Oblique Galaxy leather inserts.

Baby Dior’s inclusion in the online boutique proves there has been no better way to shop online than now. With only a handful of boutiques across the globe — and just one at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore — Dior’s offerings for babies (1 to 36 months old) and kids (4 to 14 years old) have never been more accessible.

Artistic Director Cordelia de Castellane’s fantastical taken childrenswear  infuses the tales of Dior with all the childlike whims imaginable — and she plays it out in four parts. Her most recent collection starts with White Bell, inspired by Monsieur Christian Dior’s most loved breed of flowers the lily of the valley. In it, the floral motif is transformed into a bucolic print in a palette of tender colours as it blossoms on delicate materials —such as tulle and lace — and even on casual offerings such as fleece and cotton gabardine.

The second theme revolves around the Water Lily, and it looks upon beachwear style as its canvas through pop tones, impressionist paintings and the splendours of Indian summer. The Dior Oblique is revisited in a new variation for boys, and the Dior Island universe reinterprets the emblematic toile de Jouy in a tropical version called Dior Botanica. In the final part, playful Savage Dior looks complemented by denim pieces subtly adorned with the “CD“ logo promise a timeless and infinitely modern allure in Castellane’s collections.

Dior is pleased to announce the launch of its online boutique on Dior.com in Singapore on June 1, 2023. The Dior Gray collection, a celebration of heritage that is lensed through audacious reinvention, can be discovered from June 8 in stores and online.
