The Big Idea Of Hilton Singapore Orchard’s New Deluxe Rooms

Before we delve deeper into the concept of Hilton Singapore Orchard’s new rooms, we have to refresh one’s mind about what it has been since its launch in 2022. It is visual proof that a luxury hotel located within the fashion and retail belt of Orchard Road can escape the trappings of what it means to be one (less uppity, more gaiety) and that the biggest interior trends that may seem somewhat clinical — modular design, sustainability in all forms, and energy efficiency — can provide great warmth to its many guests.

And we are talking about guests who literally, come from all works of lives (head to Osteria Mozza to find the fashion set, Ginger.Lily for the cultural cognoscenti, Shisen Hanten for the power players brokering deals and eventually, Estate where they all congregate for all-day buffet dining) and find refuge within the rooms and spaces of Hilton Singapore Orchard.

Now, they have 446 more rooms to explore where sumptuousness, surreality and theatrical flair happen once the keycard clicks in.

Titled the Deluxe Room (Hilton Singapore Orchard describes it as entry-level but that does not mean it is rudimentary in everything from amenities to panoramic views), Deluxe City View Room, Superior Deluxe Room and Deluxe Suite; each of the four room concepts boast yet another amenity that seems to be lacking in most hotels today. Space, and lots of it. The entry-level Deluxe Room pans out at 34 sqm and it stretches all the way to 67 sqm for a Deluxe Suite with each accommodating at least three people.

As for the latter concept, the option to connect to a twin-sharing room allows for yet another amenity that only the best hotels can provide: privacy.

The question to ask however, is how Hilton Singapore Orchard matches up against the new vanguard of vibes: hotels that focus on the aesthetic allure of the swish and the sleek. The answer, frankly, is that nothing can come close to what Hilton Singapore Orchard offers in terms of a more tangible concept of living.

If one is staying there on business, each of the new room concepts offers direct lift access to meeting facilities like function spaces or the Grand Ballroom and if others are concerned about the nitty-gritty (some would call them germaphobes), the hotel is the first in Singapore to introduce an onsite water filtration and bottling system that treats, purifies, mineralises and bottles water into reusable glass bottles in an hour.

And of course, the concept of hotel living does not come complete without partaking in an activity that marks the start of a hotel stay: opening the windows to take in the view. In Hilton Singapore Orchard’s case, the four new room concepts allow one to take in the view of Orchard Road all the way to the Marina Bay Waterfront.

“The increased capacity and introduction of our four new room categories allows us to better embrace the resurgence of travel and enhances our ability to cater to a more diverse group of travellers – from guests visiting the city for major events and conventions, to families and leisure travellers who desire greater flexibility, space, and premium views of the city from our prime location on Orchard Road,” said Cedric Nubul the general manager of Hilton Singapore Orchard and he succintly summarises what makes it great. One is in for a wonderful stay.

Hilton Singapore Orchard is currently offering room promotions that include Best Available Rate (change or cancel up to one day before arrival), Honors Discount Advance Purchase (Hilton Honors members can save up to 17% off Best Available Rates for reservations made at least seven days in advance), and Stay Longer & Save (book a minimum of four nights to enjoy up to 15% off and daily breakfast).
