The Two New Motorsports Inspired TAG Heuer Watches
TAG Heuer’s heritage in motorsports is personified by two of its most excitable creations yet.

Red is never dull; emotionally charged and intense, it demands attention unlike any other on the colour spectrum. The colour is used to invoke excitement, stimulate thrill or arouse the senses; red does it best compared to its chromatic counterparts. Of the associations and connotations the colour is linked with, passion is a common thread that ties them all together.

TAG Heuer exemplifies that passion with red, a signature colour for TAG Heuer throughout the decades. It is unmistakable on the brand logo, contrasting and identifiable on numerous watch references ranging from the (TAG) HeuerMonaco, 1960s Carreras and Silverstone of 1974 and now serves as the guise of the new TAG Heuer Carrera Red Dial Limited Edition. Energised by the intense shade of red, the exclusive model retains the pure and legible hallmarks of Jack Heuer’s original brainchild, the Carrera ref. 2447.

The sunray brushed dial offsets against the subtly-snailed chronograph counters with rhodium-plated hands and indexes, providing contrast and legibility.

TAG Heuer interprets modern elegance and performance differently for the TAG Heuer Carrera Red Dial Limited Edition. The original silhouette, signature lugs and pushers of the Carrera ref. 2447 complements the contemporary 39mm diameter. TAG Heuer’s in-house high-precision Calibre Heuer 02 chronograph movement powers the 600-piece limited edition watch with 80 hours of power reserve and is personalised with touches of red on the column wheel and oscillating mass engravings.

The Two New Motorsports Inspired TAG Heuer WatchesTAG Heuer and German automobile manufacturer Porsche released the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 – Porsche Edition, which celebrates the two companies’ rich history and heritage in motor racing. Apart from connecting to smartphones like all wearables do, the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 – PorscheEdition connects to compatible Porsche models, including the latest Porsche Panamera, 911, Cayenne, Macan and Taycan models.

The latest model breaks new ground as it goes beyond inspired watch aesthetics as a special synergistic relationship between the watch and the car was developed. Once the watch and car are connected through the exclusive Wear OS My Porsche app, Porsche ID and PorscheConnect subscription, the watch displays four vital bits of the car’s information.

Checking the battery life of all-electric and plug-in hybrids, car’s battery or gas autonomy information, car’s total mileage driven or even controlling the heating and air conditioning are available at a glance.

Given the electric nature of the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 – Porsche Edition, it feels apt to reference the all-electric Porsche Taycan for its design. Replete with a frozen blue demeanour, the physical watch and interface utilise the same blue shade identified by the Taycan’s exterior.

TAG Heuer revs the motorsports look a few notches higher with an all-black titanium case paired with a black ceramic polished bezel with accents of blue on the scale, crown, pushers and strap stitches.

The TAG Heuer Connected CalibreE4 – Porsche Edition features an exclusive animated ‘Circuit’ watch face evoking sensations of technology and speed.Within the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 – PorscheEdition is a customised Google Wear OS system that pairs with TAG Heuer’s suite of cutting-edge timers and sports and wellness apps.

A range of technical improvements to the exclusive wearable touts a brighter screen, better contrast, and a 30% longer battery life that requires an hour and a half for a full charge compared to its predecessors.
