#TechTeam — The Men’s Folio Team’s Take On This Week’s Best Wellness Gizmos
Every week, the Men’s Folio Team shares about the latest tech items that they desire, not limiting to whether these gadgets will actually end up in their possession. This week, it’s all about wellness — diffusers, massage guns, hair straighteners, and even a stress biosensor.

In this day and age, there are gadgets to relieve every pain, soreness and tightness, you can think of. Whether physical or mental discomforts, they are no longer as misunderstood or helpless to deal with thanks to creative scientists and engineers who have, thankfully, expanded the field of tech to support the alignment of the mind, body and soul as one.

Collated in this list are some of the best wellness tech that the Men’s Folio team want to keep in their corner for R&R times. If you’re also in search of things that could make life that much more blissful, read ahead.

I’ll happily bid stiff shoulders and more goodbye with the four unique arm positions designed to create ideal angles to reach any area of the body.

Bryan Goh, Deputy Editor: BioMat Pro
I’ve been obsessed with Amanda Chantal Bacon since I read about her diet in 2015 and apparently, she’s a big fan of this mat: a crystal-filled contraception that apparently, helps one to relax after 20 minutes of lying on it. Apparently, it also helps with the immune system and this is the kind of woo-woo nonsense I’m into as of late.

Charmaine Tan, Senior Digital Writer: Vitruvi Stone Diffuser in Charcoal
Since I’ve been in the process of redecorating my humble abode, well-crafted and sculptural-looking things like this diffuser make my pupils dilate and my heart race. I like that it uses vibrations instead of heat to activate the essential oils, and the matte ceramic cover comes in a wide offering of nature-inspired colours.

Terracotta was what first drew me to the diffuser, but this charcoal shade suits the mood of my room the best.

Izwan Abdullah, Associate Creative Director: Pip Stress Management Biosensor
This biosensor stress management tool tracks your stress levels using audio and visual feedback to externalise your body’s stress levels. Who needs a stress ball when you can have a little device to tell you to calm the fudge down?

Lance Aeron, Art Assistant: Dyson Corrale Straightener
I want to get a good hair straightener like the Dyson Corrale cord-free straightener because I have over-processed hair. In other words, my hair is very frizzy and hard to tame so I’ll need a flat iron like this if I want to look semi-decent. Wellness includes being at peace with how you look too.

Manfred Lu, Senior Fashion Stylist & Writer: DRx SpectraLite™ FaceWare Pro
LED light therapy has proven to be beneficial to your skin, which is important for your health, but I honestly want this simply because I’ll look like a character out of Westworld.
