Omega is upping the ante for Baselworld 2016 with a whole new movement and the Annual Calendar complication (that works on an instantaneous jump) added to their famous Master Chronometer series, the Globemaster.
Set in a case of stainless steel with a polished fluted bezel made of scratchproof tungsten carbide, a varnished blue hand is used to indicate the months elegantly set between blue indices.
Like the others of the Globemaster series, the Annual Calendar has a ‘Pie Pan’ dial, increased from a case diameter of 39mm to 41mm to allow for greater visibility. The dial is presented in lustrous grey and the hour and minute hands are coated with Super-Luminova, creating a captivating effect in changing light.
Being fitted with the new Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8922, this watch has the Master Chronometer certification card that ensures it has passed through eight intensive tests established by METAS.
