Adorning the neck: a sleeveless black and white cotton flannel shirt gets striped inserts at the collar, and is paired with a rhodium-finished coconut bead necklace and a chain punctuated with metal beads.
Metal rings have a black lacquered finish, and are stamped with a red and white pad print motif. These will be sold in sets, and made in an eight-millimetre variation.
On this black wool, silk and cotton two-button sleeveless jacket are steel badges in various sizes: 56 millimetres, 32 millimetres and 44 millimetres. Kris Van Assche combines skulls and flowers on the badges to symbolise the ephemeral nature of beauty.
The collection’s footwear: boots in black calfskin with black nylon straps, and another pair of black calfskin kicks with black, red and white nylon straps.
You can never have too few accessories. Matching the black wool jackets with red topstitch details are red and white-striped ribbed cuffs for the hands.
In embossed calfskin, the brand’s roomy and sporty backpack is also designed with the season’s embroidered “Vanite Patches”, as well as oversized zip pockets.
Dior Homme’s idea of white accessories this season: edgy calfskin Derbies and duffel bags sport the same white crackled print and contrast black detailing.
The Summer 2017 sneaker is in beige calfskin and red technical canvas, and boasts plenty of strap detailing and chunky white rubber soles.
