An Acqua di Parma Afternoon At InterContinental Singapore
The Acqua di Parma and InterContinental Singapore high tea menu, Classic Afternoon Tea: La Dolce Vita (a celebration of fragrance, light and discovery) is available till 14 November 2021.

When Acqua di Parma launches anything, it usually revolves around a lifestyle. A sort of purpose if you will that the Italian fragrance House has been championing since its inception in 1916. Its first fragrances were used to perfume gentlemen’s handkerchiefs before becoming a symbol of Italian chic. 105 years and many a launch later, it still stands for this concept of Italian chic. Chic however, can mean different things.

Take Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mirto di Panarea for example. Its blue bottle telegraphs the chicness of fresh beach air as it does the effervescence of diving into blue waters (camphoraceous myrtle and zesty bergamot); a herbaceous Mediterranean salad and the warmth of the sun’s setting rays (bitter juniper and sensuous amber). Even Acqua di Parma’s Signature Of the Sun collection telegraphs its own specific curation of chic, simple fragrances to enhance one’s fragrance wardrobe.

The high tea menu for the Acqua di Parma and InterContinental Singapore high tea menu telegraphs another form of Italian chic: taking one’s time to eat with a menu that revolves around two of the former’s latest fragrances, Oud and Lily Of the Valley.

“Afternoon tea has always been a signature experience at The Lobby Lounge, and we were drawn to the heritage and ethos of Acqua di Parma’s Signatures of the Sun collection, which coincides with our own – to source precious ingredients from all over the world and accentuate purest essence.” Said Executive Chef Eric Neo.

While highlights on the menu include the lightness of Acqua di Parma’s Lily Of the Valley — Yuzu mimosa tart with jasmine marshmallow, Madagascar vanilla bean mousse with bergamot curd and almond sponge; and Red dragon chai financier with strawberry marmalade, sakura cream and pink peppercorns — and darkness of Oud —  sesame-crusted Norwegian salmon toast with saffron aioli; smoky Parma ham with cheddar cheese and home-made osmanthus butter on ciabatta; Smoked chicken quiche Lorraine; and Mini donut with crabmeat salad, pomelo and yuzu jelly —, the experience also includes a welcome drink, scones and unlimited servings of ice cream.

And that’s not forgetting the welcome gift, a 1.5ml vial of Signatures of the Sun perfume and redemption card for a 1 x 5ml Signatures of the Sun perfume when one visits any Acqua di Parma escentials stores.
