Au Revoir Monsieur! Today’s #MFMF is gonna be a little different, because I’ve decided to dedicate it to my mentor – Men’s Folio’s very own Editor-In-Chief, Wilson Lim. It’s one full of bittersweet numbers, songs he’s repeatedly played on set when we shoot together, and his insistence on his love for pop music. It’s also cheekily all about departures. Meant to be taken with a slight sense of humour, this playlist will not feature any Ultra-esque music, much to his disappointment I’m sure.
Without any more banter, here are the four songs to bid farewell to Men’s Folio’s guardian angel.

Timbaland – If We Ever Meet Again ft. Katy Perry
I know for sure Wilson loves Katy Perry, even during her dark times when her hair was short and her music made no sense. But is a farewell playlist even good if it doesn’t have at least this song?
Destiny Child – Survivor
Dedicated to the countless times he’s survived a full day on set, or stationed himself in front of his computer at 4.A.M to see a cover shoot through: this one’s for the man who’s done it all.
Sharon Van Etten – Jupiter 4
He probably has no clue about this but this one’s for that one time I played this song on set (I’m a sucker for ambient music on long shoots) and he abruptly changed it to play songs from the radio. My jaw sunk to the floor when it happened. You’re forgiven, Wilson.
Rihanna – Farewell
