Need a brand new away-from-work stomping ground? Cue The Clan: the buzzy new hotel to grace our skyline. Come 1 March 2021, the establishment — which will be the very first property unveiled by The Clan Hotel brand by Fareast Hospitality — opens its doors and with it, a host of new, exciting and stylish experiences to partake in.
Why know it: First things first — its interiors. The space in itself boasts elements of contemporary finesse, a considerable nod to the brand’s vision of new-age luxury. Think looming floor to ceiling wooden panels, marble accents and industrial lighting – offset by leather furniture and accents. Inspired by a host of “experience-driven” travellers, The Clan Hotel also brings with it a range of luxurious activities — spanning from a decadent meal at Qin to fitness-on-demand personal training sessions.
The most unique part of the hotel? A network dubbed “The Clan Collective” which connects guests to a coveted cultural network of prominent figures, local craftsmen as well as artists.
What to expect: Guests at The Clan can choose from three categories across 324 rooms: Grand Premier, Premier and Deluxe. All three come with the hotel’s modern-historic trimmings — complete with a view of historic shophouses and a glimmering cityscape. As for room amenities, guests can look forward to an in-room spa, state-of-the-art bath amenities, generous breakfast spreads as well as a personalised orientation. And to commemorate your stay? The option to take home one-of-a-kind memorabilia such as Chinese tea sets and umbrellas.

Where to find it: Though the hotel itself is set to keep you occupied, it is also within stone’s throw of various other spots-to-know. Located at the heart of Telok Ayer, The Clan Hotel is situated in a premium hotspot of historic local sites, new restaurants and buzzy bars. It is also in the vicinity of Raffles Place, Tanjong Pagar, Chinatown as well as Gardens by the Bay.
