After numerous seasons of parading Instagram-casts on their runway, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana now listens to what millennials wanted to see and gives them exactly that. Titled “DNA Evolution”, the Spring/Summer’19 collection showcases perfectly tailored suits, tuxedos, black lace and silk print dresses — Dolce & Gabbana classics, but modernised. The star-studded show drew inspiration from Byzantine mosaics, Baroque, Sicily tradition and iconic Dolce & Gabbana DNA, redesigned with a new vision.
