Close to 1,200 guests gathered at the “F1 Pit Turn 23”, Singapore’s most prestigious location, the most sought-after secret event was about to take place. Guests arrived on site dressed in white from top to toe, toting their own picnic baskets full of gourmet treats. Thinking the slight rain would dampen the spirits of the guests, instead vivid chatters were abundant. Shortly after setting up, they waved their white linen serviettes and the 6th edition of the Le Dîner en Blanc commenced.
The cheery dinner was accompanied with splendid performances by ribbon dancers from Silent Star and live music by Vetta Quartet. Perrier joined in the joyous occasion with butlers decked in white (except for their bowtie, which was in Perrier’s signature green) handing out complimentary bottles of carbonated mineral water. Perrier-Joüet and Vinomofo kept the energy of the charged atmosphere high with the constant flow of bubbly goodness and a fine selection of reds and whites. At the end of the evening, sparklers glowed to mark the opening of the dance floor and guests made merry well into the night.
As guests packed up to leave the site, smiles were all around. Le Dîner en Blanc was created for the sole purpose of having good friends share a gourmet meal in one of the city’s most beautiful places and the 2018 instalment was the success of an unforgettable night of friendship, elegance and fun.
