Following its decade-old predecessor, the Clearaudio Statement v2 features the same magnetically suspended platter, imposing integrated stand, and controlled motor. What’s improved is the thousands of small ball bearings on the top of the stand for better resonance control and electronic circuitry. The v2 also boasts a 95kg damped self-levelling pendulum that hangs from the bearing, and can be adjusted so the platter is completely level – not with the floor, but the Earth’s surface.
