In a playful attempt to combine the worlds of football and fashion, Adidas reached out to Italian company Italia Independent to help design a new special edition version of the brand’s ACE 16 and X 15 football boots. Styling a black and white print with a snake-y reptilian texture, the Deadly Focus pack oozes with bestial sharpness that so well encompasses the brand’s shared passion for creativity and football.
“The print is aimed to surprise you. You normally find prints like this on luxury goods. This time, we wanted to transfer it to the world of sport. It’s fun, it’s exciting and it pushes boundaries — something that both Italia Independent and Adidas like to do!” said Italia Independent founder Lapo Elkann, who also worked on the boots’ design.
