Lanvin
‘Digital’ was the word of the day at Lanvin, which prompted creative director Alber Elbaz and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver to explore the idea of individuality in a virtual landscape. Consequently, their multifaceted runway ran myriad styles – silhouettes were both slim and wide, waistlines high and low; modern coats and jackets trimmed in fur coexisted with ultra-skinny print ties from the eighties; and colours were unabashedly abundant. Anonymous faces and wandering hands underscored their search for identity, but the clothes had more than enough personality to make the man.
