Earlier this month, Nicolas Ghesquière, creative director for Louis Vuitton, unveiled his unique and immersive exhibition “Louis Vuitton Series 2- Past, Present, Future” in Los Angeles. The exhibition shows his take on the modern day fashion show and provides an insight into his creative process and inspirations for his third ready-to-wear collection for women. The opening event was attended by celebrities and high profile models such as Rosamund Pike, Alexa Chung, Michelle Williams and Liu Wen.
Visitors are treated to an array of mediums like 3-D projections, holograms, videos and photographs, all showcasing the brand’s history over 160 years. They serve simultaneously as compilations of what goes on behind the scenes in the luxury house. The exhibition is divided into 9 different segments that visitors can marvel in.
The exhibition runs from the 6th to 22nd February at 1135 North Highland Ave in Los Angeles.
