Five years after the release of the first Bleu De Chanel film, Chanel has finally decided to follow up with a sequel. The film stars French actor and model Gaspard Ulliel, with James Gray taking over the directorial helm from Martin Scorsese.
As a continuation of its predecessor, the latest release depicts Ulliel torn by the constant pressures of his popularity, constantly searching for serenity. He finally decides to make a break for his freedom, gustily driving away from his fans and the limelight. After running and navigating his way through a mild vertigo, he finally finds peace in a breath-taking view of the horizon. “I wanted to raise the issue of this craziness inherent to the film world,” explains James Gray, “within which we lead both a comfortable and an uncomfortable life.”
