Giorgio Armani Imagines A Journey Through Time This Spring

Giorgio Armani taps Norwegian-born photographer Sølve Sundsbø for its latest spring campaign. Though better known for his otherworldly concepts and visually-arresting images, the London-based Sundsbø drops his pet aesthetic and adopts a more pared down, more Armani approach for the campaign. Built around the idea of timeless elegance, models Josephine Le Tutour and Mathias Lauridsen are set against abstract pictorial canvases, with a soft yet intense light lending an air of decadence to the campaign and the key pieces featured. Movement is subtly suggested in the blurred edges that outline Tutour and Lauridsen, allowing the images to appear almost like paintings.
