In addition to the first Ralph Lauren Polo flagship store opening, the American fashion label also launches its first coffee shop, Ralph’s Coffee, and a brand new restaurant, The Polo Bar, in New York City. Using Ralph Lauren’s private coffee blends from USDA organic coffees, patrons of Ralph’s Coffee will get to taste a wide variety of professionally brewed coffees and teas, as well as pastries, sandwiches and other sweet treats.
The Polo Bar, adjacent to the new Ralph Lauren Polo flagship store, is inspired by the classic American pubs. It is a welcoming space that sports a polo match imagery on the exterior, as well as a curated collection of sports imagery for its interior – a design concept that pays tribute to the brand’s close association with the equestrian lifestyle.
Patrons entering through the first floor will be met by a brass-topped bar with aged wood trim and accompanying saddle leather banquettes. There is also a back bar, which is decked with a fireplace and a seating for 16. Enjoy a meal at the dining room that seats up to 150 people, or choose a private dining room – hosts up to 16 guests – for a more intimate session.
The extensive menu is a mix of American classics and some of Ralph Lauren’s favourite dishes, including The Polo Bar Burger, crabcakes and seasonal salads. The full bar offers a selection of wines, classic and crafted beers and timeless cocktails including Old Fashioneds, Martinis, Sidecars and Manhattans.
