With a longstanding history of 120 years, Alfred Dunhill is a heritage brand often lauded for its understated British elegance. Referencing the venerable label’s motoring provenance, the Chassis leather range is inspired by the leather motor car dashboards originally used in the 1900’s and still featured in some of the world’s leading supercars today.
The scratch resistant and water repellent leather is incredibly tactile and the application of iconic carbon fibre effect on the Chassis leather reveals a unique three dimensional appearance.
Details on the bag include elegant D-rings, a padlock case and leather zipper pulls – all inspired by one of Alfred Dunhill’s brand signifiers, the facet. Slim and angular, the facet glass was used by Alfred Dunhill when designing the interior lights of motor cars in the late 1930’s. The facet style was also the archetypical horological expression of the Art Deco era. Other key details include the circular leather I.D. tags which can be personalised and embossed with the customer’s name.
The Chassis leather range is available in midnight blue, motor racing green, and earthy hues such as chestnut brown or tan.
