In conjunction with the nation’s 50th birthday, the National Museum of Singapore presents We: Defining Stories, a nostalgic yet compelling photojournalism exhibition showcasing some of Singapore’s iconic historical moments. Together with the country’s national newspaper, The Straits Times, the exhibition will showcase over 400 momentous photographs, captured between the post-war years in the 1950’s to 2013, some of which will be seen for the very first time. The photographs are grouped into six themes; Merdeka, Home, Challenges, Heroes, So Singapoream and Our Stories.
We: Defining Stories will be on display from Sunday, 27 April to Sunday, 31 August 2014 in Exhibition Gallery 1 of National Museum of Singapore. The Exhibition is open daily from 10am to 6pm. Admission to this exhibition is free.
