The new Hugo Boss boutiques are situated in the city’s key business and premium retail districts, both venues feature the new-generation store concept which has already been adopted at selected store locations in major global cities such as Shanghai, Paris and New York. A ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the openings was held at the Central Building store. Some 10,800 square feet of sales space make it the largest Boss Store in the Asia-Pacific region to date. Guests were also invited to an after-party at the well-known location ‘Pier 7,’ where guests enjoyed a panoramic view of the spectacular Hong Kong skyline.
Celebrities such as Boss Womenswear Artistic Director Jason Wu, actress Margot Robbie and DJ Solange Knowles joined key business partners, press representatives, musicians and an array of international and national celebrities.
At the after-party, the collection’s inspiration was reflected throughout. The cocktail and dance area mirrored the same concept, creating a unique environment for the guests to experience the contemporary and sophisticated design philosophy of Hugo Boss.
Men’s Folio attended the festivities in Hong Kong, describing it as an ‘electrifying experience’:
“Hands down, one of the most electrifying star-studded events of the year so far with not just one, but two store openings on the same night attended by the likes of glitterati such as veteran Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat, the brand’s newly-appointed creative director Jason Wu, Hollywood actress Margot Robbie (looking so chic in one of Wu’s designs), the eternally-boyish Hong Kong actor Cheung Chi-lam and Korean idol Lee Jong-suk. This electrifying momentum continued well into the night, in particular at the after-party held at Pier 7 where DJ Solange Knowles (aka Beyonce’s little sister) whipped up an aural frenzy much to the delight of regional journalists, key business partners and a glam squad of international and local celebrities.”
