The new models are the first in the EDIFICE series to feature the Neon Illuminator, which combines a black light and special florescent coating that gives the hands and dials a handsome night-time luminescence. Casio’s Neon Illuminator technology uses a special coating that absorbs light during the day from a built-in black light and the coating then illuminates the watch face with an incandescent glow. The indicators, including the dials and hands of the new EFR-536 range radiate a subtle yet precise gleam, without the need to hold on to a light button in the dark or in low-light conditions.
The stylish EDIFICE series is well known for its concept of “Speed and Intelligence” proven by its distinctive indicators and dynamic movement of the watch hands, making it a popular choice among professionals with an active lifestyle. The new EFR-536 range features chronographs and dials reminiscent of the dashboard of a high-performance sports car, presenting a sleek and polished look during the day and a luminous afterglow at night. The EFR-536 watches are also packed with practical features such as water resistance, an airtight screw back case and a 1/10-second stopwatch.
The new EFR-536 with the Neon Illuminator will be available at Casio authorised dealers in Singapore from March 2014.
