The focus is on the leather used and the treatment given to it. The philosophy here is to take the hide “back to its roots”. The aim of J.P. Tod’s Sartorial Collection is to select the best leathers available and to keep them looking as pure and natural as possible by using the skills of Tod’s craftsmen; skills that are deeply rooted in the tradition of Made in Italy. The processes used artfully employ techniques of brushing and polishing that allow the leather to display its true essence.
The shoes and bags that result from this approach are conceived with the demands of the modern-day professional in mind, and are well suited to a Monday-to-Friday schedule that is demanding and involves a dynamic mix of travel and meetings in and out of the office.
J.P. Tod’s: the new logo
New branding for Tod’s special projects for men sees the Brand revisit the name J.P. Tod’s. This was the name under which Tod’s was first known, and it will now designate products developed as Men’s special projects: the first one is the Sartorial Collection.
