The latest designer to join the growing list of tastemakers dressing national Olympic and Paralympic teams is none other than the legendary Ralph Lauren. Born and bred in the USA, Ralph Lauren’s idealised vision of the American Midwest has helped to shape an idyllic, stylish view of America for close to four decades.
So it comes as no surprise that the iconic designer’s 2014 Team USA Closing Ceremony Parade Uniforms will feature a dynamic mix of patriotic references and sporting icons in a classic colour palette of red, white and navy. The collection consists of festive wool sweaters, iconic mesh polos and performance-inspired tees and fleece tops, while the accessories feature American flags and U.S. Olympic branding.
In addition, the company will be releasing a limited edition Polo bear dressed in the official Team USA Closing Ceremony uniform for the young ones.
