A first for Chanel, the tannery supplies soft lamb leather that provides materials for their quilt leather bags. The factory employs a hundred people and has been working with the luxury brand for about 30 years. Besides their latest acquisition, the brand have acquired embroiderer, Lesage and plant growers who cater to the iconic Chanel No. 5 perfume. Their last major buy was Scottish cashmere company, Barrie Knitwear.
