To officiate the opening of the boutique, a launch event was held on 19 November which included an in-store cocktail, followed by an intimate dinner co-hosted by Valextra and F J Benjamin.
Arriving guests were welcomed by a myriad of brightly coloured bags and leather accessories which included signature styles such as the B-Cube, Heritage, Isis, ‘Grip’ coin purse and the award-winning 24 Hour Bag. Set upon isplays with the brand’s signature clean lines and linear forms, it was an inviting showcase that ighlighted the products’ beauty and quality Italian craftsmanship. In between flowing prosecco, fine canapés and live jazz music playing in the background, guests were introduced to members of the Valextra Management who flew in from Milan to mark this special occasion and share their first-hand their insights on the brand with the guests.
Co-hosting the event, the evening was attended by Valextra Chief Executive Officer Marco Franchini, newly-appointed Design Director, Álvaro González, President Emanuele Carminati Molina, Executive Director Marco Scarpella, Group Communications Director, Marina Piano, together with the key management of FJ Benjamin -Executive Chairman Frank Benjamin, Chief Executive Officer Nash Benjamin, Chief Operating Officer Douglas Benjamin and General Manager Ben Benjamin. The event drew industry luminaries such as Suzy Menkes, International Fashion Editor of the International New York Times, as well as local sophisticates of society.
The in-store cocktail then proceeded to One on the Bund at the Fullerton Bay Hotel for a private dinner amidst the elegant Oriental architecture and alluring scenery of Marina Bay. Holding fast to its treasured heritage of quality Italian craftsmanship and subtly luxurious designs, while continuously innovating to meet clients’ needs and desires, Valextra is all set to please true connoisseurs of style in Singapore with its collection of impeccably crafted leather goods, timeless styles and exquisite quality. In an intimate evening that aimed to reflect the brand’s essence of discreet luxury, a beautiful impression was indeed set upon the guests.
